Typhoid is bacterial infection caused by salmonella serotypes including S. Typhi, S. Parathphi A, Paratyphi B. Widal test is one method that is used to help make a presumptive diagnosis of enteric fever (typhoid fever), test detect antibodies against O and H antigen of Salmonella typhiand H antigen of Salmonella paratyphi A and B.
